Once there was a spider. A tiny little spider. This little spider was distinctively bright. For whichever reason, at night time he would grow really, really big. So big that the next morning he could never seem to fit his clothes from the day before. One Saturday morning he took a long, hard look at himself in the mirror and the most peculiar thing happen…. He wasn’t able to see himself anymore.

He screamed as his lungs would carry him. Just then he noticed he couldn’t feel his lips anymore it was as if they had evaporated into thin air. Silence took over the whole entire room. As he blinked in a rather slow motion, a sturdy Knock dinted in the door frame. The knock was so awkwardly strange that it knocked the mirror right off the wall. Shattering it into a million pieces. There was no noise after.

No one answered the door either. Lights flickered back and forth and footsteps dragged itself across the wooden floors. Hello! Hello! Someone whistled with a rhapsody tone. Do you hear me? They said. Is anyone home? Are you alright? Is anyone up there? Still… No one answered. A few seconds later a long, dark, silky head wrap, abruptly fell off the bathroom counter top and flew directly out the window from the gush of wind blowing the shattered pieces around as loosely and vulnerable.

Today’s question how enlightened was the spider?
